Navigator College is located close to the Marina, opposite the Ravendale Sporting Complex.
Local interest and enthusiasm was the motivation to establish Lutheran schooling in Port Lincoln.
Navigator College provides another choice contributing to the diversity in education for students and families of Port Lincoln, surrounding districts and Eyre Peninsula as a whole.
Navigator College caters for families with a desire for a Christian education within the nurturing, supportive framework that Lutheran schools are well known for.
Our curriculum, which supports the process of inquiry and Middle School philosophy framework is one that is new to the area and families are noticeably very pleased with the results.
In 2016 student numbers have increased to 490, which includes the newly opened Early Learning Centre.
Navigator College offers ELC (Early Learning) to Year 12 Schooling.
It has as its focus, quality education, where the whole person can grow and develop with confidence and dignity.
A significant aspect of the education program is the underlying “Christ centred” approach to life and specific learning in the area of Christian Studies through a curriculum developed for Lutheran schools.
The College curriculum offers extensive programs to students giving them the opportunity for spiritual and moral growth, service and social involvement, and individual excellence in the range of learning areas, to prepare them with confidence for their individual vocations and Christian life.
Applications for Enrolment are available. Interviews with the Principal are conducted each year for students to commence in February the following year.
